Privacy Policy
Undelia ("we", "us") runs a verified library of makeup outcomes for deep skin, organised by depth and undertone. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have over your data. If you do not agree with it, please do not use Undelia.
Who we are
Undelia is operated by its founding team. For any privacy request, contact us at privacy@undelia.com.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address and, if you provide it, your name.
- Skin profile (sensitive): your skin depth, undertone, optional Monk skin-tone value, and skin type. You choose to provide this so the library can match outcomes to skin like yours.
- Contributions: the products you own and the outcomes you log (match accuracy, colour cast, wear time, finish, notes) and, if you choose, photos you upload as proof.
- Billing data: we use Flutterwave to process payments. We store a transaction reference and your plan status. We do NOT store your card or bank details, Flutterwave handles those.
- Technical data: standard log data (IP, device, timestamps) needed to run and secure the service.
Sensitive data and your consent
Skin-tone and undertone information, and any photos of your face or skin, may be treated as special category / sensitive personal data under laws such as the UK GDPR and EU GDPR. We collect it only with your explicit consent, only to provide the matching service you asked for, and you can withdraw that consent and delete this data at any time.
How we use your data
- To match verified outcomes to your depth and undertone.
- To attribute and display contributions you choose to submit (you control what is shared).
- To manage your membership and process payments.
- To secure the service and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your personal data. We run no affiliate links and take no sponsored placements.
Sharing
We share data only with providers that help us run Undelia: Flutterwave (payments) and our hosting and storage providers. They act on our instructions and are bound to protect your data. We may disclose data if required by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email privacy@undelia.com. You can delete your account and associated skin profile and contributions at any time from your account settings.
Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data and skin profile. Anonymised, non-identifying outcome data may be retained to keep the library useful, with no link back to you.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email before they take effect.
